PILOXING

PILOXING is an exciting fitness program that uniquely blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. It is a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout, guaranteed to whip you into shape. Weighted gloves are used to add extra resistance to the workout maximising cardiovascular health and toning the arms. The class consists of a 45 minute choreographed routine made up of boxing, Pilates and dance blocks. This is followed by 15 minutes of floorwork and cooldown. I guarantee this workout will challenge and energise you whatever your current fitness may be. Don’t be put off by the silly name! Piloxing may have come from LA, but I add my own South London flavour to my classes……

Piloxing classes take place on Fridays 9.30am at Honour oak Baptist Church, Forest Hill Road, SE22 0SG and on Saturdays 9am at The Charter School, Red Post Hill, SE24 9JH - Classes are bookable in advance (£8) or PAYG is £10

Monday Fit Club

This Monday morning class is a keep fit class with a difference... The class offers a whole body workout, with a different emphasis every week. Some weeks we will do a circuit style session, other weeks we will do boxing, individual, partner or group exercises using bodyweight exercises and free weights (body bars, dumbbells, kettlebells). There is always a mixture of exercises designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, core stability and muscular strength and endurance.

Classes take place at East Dulwich Community Centre 46-64 Darrell Rd, London SE22 9NL.

Classes are bookable in half term blocks and work out as £8 per session or £10 PAYG rate. Monday Fit Club takes place during the school term only.
